I haven't been this silly in a long time. How about you?
Maybe permission to be silly is one of the reasons people have kids. Silly, like my nephew who insisted I take a picture of the tiny tiny hairs on his arm then ran off laughing as if the click of the camera had tickled him.
Are you referring to the dark night when Trudy wrote notes to people from other people, and MOKeefe and ... jeez, I'm blanking on her name! from Toronto! What's my problem? were huddled in the kitchen? Or was that her and some other mysterious man? Oh yeah, it was--the documentarian.
Also wanted to say: TOTALLY on the Masshole thing. Eastern Mass. is another world. Sometimes we get hints of it out here in the Happy Valley, but mostly folks are here because they've fled Boston or New York.
And yes, New Yorkers are definitely friendlier than Bostonites. Nyah nyah.
Portland, OR has always been my home though I didn't know it until I moved here in 1993. I hold an MFA from Bennington College and a massage license from the state of Oregon.
Well, not THAT long... I can remember some profound silliness about 2 years ago in a little vermont college :)
